I myself have no issues with ink. But I would always encourage those who wish to get inked to consider their decision and placement. There are places and even countries that are far less welcoming of tattooed individuals. In Japan tattoos are associated with organized crime, and other places especially those ruled by some form of theocracy regard tattoos as sin. Even within our own homelands, there are many who are far less accepting of tattoos for whatever reason.

Tracy Marshall-Oakes I’m really not a fan of tattoos but they are so common now and people from all walks of life have them. I wouldn’t want my employees to have them on their face but other than that I think you should accept other people’s choices. Just because they aren’t for me doesn’t mean other people shouldn’t have them. Nancy Talbot I have seen some fabulous tats in my 35+ years in healthcare. I worked in the OR for most of that time and occasionally we had to cut where they were. We would do our best to to keep things lined up but the tats would never be the same. The other thing I saw with regularity were older (mostly) armed service members with blurred, ugly tats. I have never wanted a tat but it is your body to do what you want with it.
